just plain old good
Something for the whole family...the Fusion to the Waffles. Service is for the most part excellent and the staff is wonderful and caring. Best way to start a birthday and support the local community. - onlineheidi , posted 02/04/08

I Love the Morning Glory
Morning Glory has a fine hippie history. What I love about it today though is that it remains true to itself, local farmers supported, food prepared with love and care by conscious living people. I Love you all at the Morning Glory. Keep, Keepin' On - camillia , posted 05/05/07

I so agree
Good food, slow service. The place is understaffed which is one of the reasons many of my friends stopped going there (including myself). If you are o a lunch break, it will take them so long to get you served that you might as well go to another place which serves faster so you can have a walk and get some fresh air. Just sitting in the restaurant waiting one hour to be served is simply too much.

Morning Glory is simply understaffed and that sucks! Hope they will change! - Unsubscribed , posted 03/18/07

Blah....
the food was alright, but besides the extremely vegan/vegatarian friendlyness, it wasn't that great. I got a breakfast sandwich and the tofu sausage was less that good (Ihave had many different kinds of fake sausage to base my opinion on...) and the egg that was served to me didn't even seem real, it looked like it came out of a carton, and I personally like real, fresh eggs!! The gravy on the potatoes was good, but otherwise I was disappointed, I had hoped to find a good breakfast place in Eugene...my search is still happening though... - Lillian , posted 03/18/07

i sat in a seat of water...
no really. we sat on the patio and the server didnt notice that there was a puddle of epic proportions in my chair...but its cool...I blame myself too for not looking first...

But the food was EXCELLENT! Service was fast. So it made up for a soggy butt. - Bren , posted 01/23/07

Sky High Chai
I had the BEST Chai ever here while on vacation. Unfortuneately they wouldn't sell me any to take home. The breakfast's were devine, especially the fresh wheat bread. The service was a little slow, but the wait staff were very sweet. I loved this restaurant and ate there every morning we were there. - Ziza , posted 08/30/06

Great Food, Horrible Service
The food is excellent, which is why my family and I will occasionaly go and suffer through the dreadfully SLOW service. It is especially hard when you have young children to wait for long periods of time for food. We have timed it before, and from placing our order to being served was once 1 hour and 10 minutes...No Joke! Maybe do take-out?? The food is SO yummy though. - Lennon , posted 02/18/06

Visit Eugene just for their breakfast.
I made my last album in Eugene, and I'm making my new one there. I set time aside to go to the Morning Glory Cafe for breakfast every time I'm there. Back home in the Bay Area, there's plenty of delicious vegetarian and organic food but I still get an experience at the Morning Glory that I can't get anywhere else. Last time I was there, I had the Three Sisters mountain of bliss. :) Don't miss this place. It is right by the Amtrak station. - Polly , posted 04/22/05
