This is the perfect time of year for this hike. The hike is medium in difficulty, on a well maintained trail, uphill about 2miles to the top. Me and my eight-year old son did it without any trouble, we're just good and tired this evening. Everything is so lush and fragrant now with the flowers and trees in bloom. There are still the natural pools at the top where the rain water collects and they are full of polywogs. The view is spectacular. This is a definate must-do for Southern Oregon outdoor activities. - Lisa , posted 04/23/06 |
