Part of the mission statement for this place says it will "change your life in ways you never imagined". I'm quoting from memory, so it might not be exactly right, but anyway -- it was true for me. Of course I lived there for 4 years, but it didn't take that long for my life to become something I never imagined. There is a magical power residing over this land, and it guides you toward whatever you need in your life whether you think you're ready for it or not. Plus, the hot springs are so awesome, and the trees, and the river, and the views of Devil's Peak on the walk across the bridge... I can't even begin to say enough good things about Breitenbush. I love the location, the hot springs and the people. I wish I could go there more often. So Mark you need a visitor, that would be willing to work, but would prefer to stay on the staff side of the river? - camillia , posted 05/05/07 |

hey so i live and work at Breitenbush Hot Springs, a retreat and conference center in the Oregon cascades. this place is awesome! see the website if you want, but you have to visit to get it... in several seasons if possible, but summer is the best for hiking and the place is surrounded by uncut forest with trails heading up towards pahtoo (mt. jefferson) - mark , posted 02/27/07 |
