Hello people,
I'm new to tribe but I totally dig this site! My name's Paul and I'm heading back to Eugene A.S.A.P. I'm looking for some cheap housing in a friendly atmosphere for at least a short period of time. I have some $$$ I could throw down but not much, however I'm not looking for much, little more than an empty closet, shed, couch or floorspace would be fine for me. I would be searching for employment immediately upon my arrival; I might (fingers crossed) be clearing trails, picking weeds and planting flowers for AmeriCorps in June. I'm willing to work trade also and have some experience with organic gardening during a tenure at an EcoVillage. I endeavor to be a very conscious, conscientious, creative individual. I live simply and have barely any luggage, just my banjo and my bag.
A little about myself, I'm a deeply spiritual person who loves our Mother Earth. We belong to Her, after all. In all honesty I'm a total bookworm, a voracious reader who devours literature at an insatiable rate. I enjoy going out to see all of Eugene's gypsy-old time bands and frequent the bluegrass jam at Sam Bond's as well. I'm into Nature, Goddess, sustainability, self-sufficiency, permaculture, Zen, literature, music, the Dead, beautiful people and big laughs. My idea of a good time is kickin back on the back porch in the afternoon sunshine, or meditating in the woods. I'm planning on attending LCC soon, the date of enrollment depending on whether I'm accepted into AmeriCorps or not. If you have some empty space available, even in say a back yard where I could pitch my tent, I would be utmost grateful.
!Peace!
